How to make it

Our preference is to use the ‘inverted method’ when it comes to Aeropress. This means you need to prepare the Aeropress upside down with the filter cap off.

  1. Place your Aeropress filter paper within the filter cap and flush through some hot water to remove the papery taste. You can also buy reusable metal filters.
  2. Turn the Aeropress upside down and put the rubber seal of your Aeropress inside so it’s aligned with the number four mark on the outside.
  3. Weigh your coffee within the cylinder and shake it flat
  4. Begin your timer and slowly start to pour over the water ensuring all coffee grounds get saturated.
  5. Steep the coffee for 60 seconds.
  6. Now place your previously prepared filter cap with paper on top and screw in.
  7. Carefully turn the Aeropress upside down on top of your cup.
  8. Slowly press the plunger down for 30 seconds, when you hear a hiss, stop.
  9. Remove the Aeropress from your cup.
  10. Enjoy.
